Parent Network Meetings

Want to stay connected to your kid’s new friends? Want to find out what really goes on in Middle School? It is difficult to know all the kids your child is friendly with. Parents are not on campus as much, there are more kids in a given grade and your child doesn’t want you hanging around school.

Parent Network Meetings connect parents and provide a forum for parents to discuss issues relevant to them. There are no issues that cannot be discussed and everything is kept confidential within the group. There are two meetings a month, one during the day and one at night at members homes. Typically parents will form bonds with one group that lasts all year. And one of our groups has even graduated to high school with their children. Notices of meetings are included in eNews and there is no commitment. But the information and experience can be valuable.

Parent Network Online Discussion and Information Group

The Terman Parent Network group has created an online Discussion and Information group. This is a yahoo email group with associated web page. Features include a message board, calendar, and a place to post files for sharing. Topics generating a lot of discussion should use the message board rather than email. This is a closed group, accessible only to members. If you are already in the Terman Parent Network email list you will receive an invitation to join the group. Otherwise you may request to join the group by sending an email to terman_parent_network-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Questions about the group may be emailed to terman_parent_network-owner@yahoogroups.com. Parent Network Co-chairs are Gaile Gordon and Aarti Johri.
